NeilMH Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 (edited) I have searched and I have found amazing pictures of people with umpteen wheels and tyres strapped to their cars with boots open (and even on the roof). However, my question is much more simple. Will a standard 350Z 18" tyre fit in a Coupe boot....and with the spare wheel and floor still in place and the boot closed? I have a roadster. It won't fit in there but I know the Coupe boot is bigger. Thanks in anticipation. Edited September 30, 2013 by NeilMH Quote
Dave-350 Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 (edited) You can go over the top of the strut brace and between the front seats FYI too. Like this you can get 4 x 19's with tires in it. Cant remember if it squeezes under the brace though. Edited September 30, 2013 by Dave-350 Quote
Commander Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 How wide is the tyre, and is it with or without a wheel? If without a wheel and not silly wide, I reckon it'd fit... haven't checked though.. Quote
NeilMH Posted September 30, 2013 Author Posted September 30, 2013 Other stuff will be going in the passenger compartment... so all I need to know is if I can get one in the boot thanks. Quote
NeilMH Posted September 30, 2013 Author Posted September 30, 2013 Commander - it's standard width and without the wheel but it would be helpful to know definitely. Quote
Dave-350 Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Commander - it's standard width and without the wheel but it would be helpful to know definitely. Yes it does. Quote
370Ad Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 (edited) Yes it does! Well a Rays wheel/tyre did! Edited September 30, 2013 by 350Ad Quote
14N Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Yep, definitely does. Removing the boot liner carpet/rug gives you a little more room to slide the wheel and/or tyre under the strut brace. Quote
longsh07 Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 I know its resolved by just for visual confirmation if you want it 4x 18" tyres in a coupe. On another note I know Octet managed to get 4x 19" LMGT4 alloys with tyres in his 370z Quote
