Replacing a flexi should only cost about £90 each so if it's only one, it's not too bad and the mid pipe you can just patch up for £40, I think that's a better option than buying second hand ones. This will give you time to save for a quality replacement :)

I am with bullet, from what I can see the japspeed just don't match up to there expectations. I am looking for a new exhaust at the moment, I have bought a 20k mileage y-pipe, mid box and rear box OEM. Im not going to marry it up with a Scorpion after talking with HOOCH.

Hmm i see your points but it really like the noise from the k1 the exhaust was fine its the speed bumps that killed it no matter what system i get the speed bumps still going to damage it

I will get a new y pipe been told the cobra ones are good

And will look in to a centre pipe as mine has split completely around the weld line

Every thing was fine till they put in these new speed bumps down

Worst case i will have to fit air ride to the car as dont want to keep fixing exhaust every time i go near speed bumps

If i can get a system that sounds the same as the k1 i would be happy

If there are new speed bumps in your area that you're going to have to travel over often, don't waste your time getting a Cobra. They are a good exhaust, but the Flexi's will get damaged again, and they're not £200 anymore, £275 I think. Stillen make a good Y pipe that has no Flexi's. No Flexi's no problem :p

Where exactly is the split in the mid pipe? You said in your OP that its as the centre box, but there is no centre box on a K1.

Yea its the y pipe with the flexi hose thats broken and also the stright pipe that goes down the centre of the car has torn completelly open half way down the pipe and also one the flange has snapped completely off aswell so was told cheaper and easyier to replace the system

F4ABP, have you got (and are you after) a K1 or a K2? The reson I ask is you state you're after a K1 AND a centre pipe (Quote ".....and also the stright pipe that goes down the centre of the car has torn completelly open....").

The K1 system includes the centre pipe as it splits near the diff to the two seperate cans (it's Y pipe back) whereas the K2 is a single stainless backbox that connects to the centre pipe you mention.

Im after a k1 as the k2 is to quiet i like the noise of the k1 :)

The centre pipe that splits off has broken around the welds and come apart took to a exhaust place they said be cheaper to buy a new one then they fix it as one the flange has lost a bit of the edge as well its the long centre pipe the pipe that splits off both ways is what i need and also a y pipe flexi is blowing aswell
