Arran Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Do these fit if you have strut bar spacers because of plenum spacer? Do you get a new longer bolt Quote

Spatt Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Do these fit if you have strut bar spacers because of plenum spacer? Do you get a new longer bolt good shout on the spacers.. i didn't think about this one. im hoping to get a plenum spacer later in the year but i was worried i wouldn't have enough clearance. could you give me some more info on fitting spacers to the strut brace mounts? KyleR Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 If they fit those without plenum spacers, they'll fit those with because the spacer kit comes with new 10mm longer bolts for the strut. Well mine did anyway Quote
Arran Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Mine did but youd then be adding a further 10mm by adding the damper so may need an even longer bolt Quote
Paddy78 Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Maybe we aren't talking about the same thing here, but my damper didn't connect to the top of the plenum, so a spacer is irrelevant? It's installed near the Power Steering bottle and connects to the timing chain case? Quote
Floydbax Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Guys Paddy is right, this damper is the same as the Stillen one which fits down below the one you are thinking of, I would like to buy one that fits from the strut turret to the engine but they don't appear to be available anywhere. Quote
trigg Posted January 29, 2014 Author Posted January 29, 2014 These ones fit near the Power Steering bottle and connects to the timing chain case as Paddy said. cheers Quote
