tony.r123 Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 I would advise members not to purchase anything from this web site, i purchased an item from them at the end of June. was listed as in stock, when i e-mailed them a couple of weeks later i was told item not in stock but would be available for delivery end of July. Fast forward still no item, another e-mail. The molds are now done and item in production? Current situation is, no item and they do not reply to e-mails. AVOID!!!!! Quote
Tinyflier Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 I bought a CF gear shift surround from them through their e-bay listing and it arrived within their stated delivery time. Sorry you had a different buying experience. David Quote
tony.r123 Posted October 25, 2013 Author Posted October 25, 2013 Hi all still no sign of the kit i paid for in June and only one reply to e-mails, saying "won't leave you hanging" ???? Quote
tony.r123 Posted October 26, 2013 Author Posted October 26, 2013 How did you pay? I paid by paypal, so you'd think it would be OK. But Jay at Evo-R played a good game, apologetic e-mails galore for delays then promising iminent delivery. Then hey presto gets past 45 days then disappears. Quote

I'm sure if he doesn't resolve the issue by that time period then you can claim otherwise it just seems silly. Quote
Ekona Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 I'd have claimed for a refund before the 45 days, regardless of what had been promised. Failing that, SCC now. Quote
tony.r123 Posted October 27, 2013 Author Posted October 27, 2013 Evo-R are based in the USA so SCC won't help much i'm afraid. Did my research before purchasing off their website and all seemed reputable, item was listed as in stock . Quote
Ekona Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 Ah, bugger. PP linked to your credit card by any chance? Quote
tony.r123 Posted October 27, 2013 Author Posted October 27, 2013 Ah, bugger. PP linked to your credit card by any chance? Yes mate, good idea i'll give them a try Quote
OsakaBen Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 The Z Store stocks Evo R items under a different name. They have a better service record and only list items when they are in stock. Its worth checking on there in future Ben Quote

Its worth checking on there in future Ben I checked them out at the time but they did not list the item i wanted i'm afraid, i now stick to my original policy of not purchasing from anybody i can't physically find when things go wrong. I'll just have to put this one down to experience. Quote
tony.r123 Posted October 27, 2013 Author Posted October 27, 2013 sorry to hear that mate. Cheers mate, it just saddens me that people can happily rip you off without a care Quote
tony.r123 Posted March 31, 2014 Author Posted March 31, 2014 Well to my surprise, after 9Months!! and many, many e-mails and calls to the US. I get a notification of import duty to pay and my purchase from Evo-R finally arrives.
