Cozzi Posted August 20, 2013 Share Posted August 20, 2013 I currently have the JWT Pop Charger, and would like to know if it would be a worth while modification to change it to the K&N Typhoon, or any other intake kit for approx the same value? Im always concerned about heat soak on a cone intake so close the engine, but have also considered one of the intake vents cut into the front bumper along with the JWT which I would assume should help intake temps? Ekona Posted August 20, 2013 Share Posted August 20, 2013 Unless you have an Uprev or other ECU fitted, it will make zero difference. Stick with what you have, even if it was tuned for it you're talking the best part of 1 or 2 hp extra. For the cost of the Typhoon, it's not worth it IMHO.
