welshbuddy Posted July 13, 2013 Author Posted July 13, 2013 hey mate, what do you mean by uprev? daz Quote
Jp606 Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 (edited) Are these the things that wire into the ECU? It sounds as though it may not be installed correctly. As said above, go for an UpRev remap and the limiter will be removed for when you drive on your private road, as well as giving you improved throttle response and a little more power. welshbuddy Posted July 13, 2013 Author Posted July 13, 2013 anybody got a link for this? as this sounds interesting . cheers Quote
4RE Leather Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 That 4 wired thing off ebay they were selling that goes into the back of the speedo (I think) is crap. I know of 3 peeps who bought one and cant seem to fathome it out. Up-Rev will do it! Quote
HaydnH Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Search for uprev in the top right, make sure you select "forums" though and not "this thread" or simlar. Quote
welshbuddy Posted July 13, 2013 Author Posted July 13, 2013 i have a long driveway just emailed abbey motorsports now . just waiting for reply Quote
The Chubby Ninja Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 when I had my old starlet turbo a lot of people used the hks speed limit defender and it worked but when I got my speedo converted to mph it changed the limit from 180kph to 180mph. the zeds probably a little more sophisticated though and cant be fooled so easily. uprevs the way to go Quote
