fellsteruk Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Been looking at RTCust wraps and i am being drawn to the Black Lustre, Anyone got their roof wrapped in this and has some pics to share? Quote
14N Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Mine's not black lustre but gloss black. But as you have a gunmetal car, I figured a pic might help anyway Quote

14N Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Mine's not black lustre but gloss black. Yeah, rear window is also tinted. Here's my thread Neo mentioned http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/71896-roof-wrap-and-rear-window-tint/ Quote
cs2000 Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 I want to pic whore, but have no photos lol RT also did my roof im black gloss (I too almost went for the Black Lustre too), turned out pretty good Quote
rtbiscuit Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 the black lustre is just a metallic black, the pic you have seen is a close up so people can see the flake in it. it does look black from a distance, its just close up its designed to look more like a painted metallic finish, i've not had a roof done in it yet, so you would be the first in the club, all the others i've sold have wither been carbon or gloss, and i think 1 lot of matte. Cool, not a fan of carbon look to be honest "i know shocking statement" thanks for the PM with details of the other decals. I will confirm measurements when I get a sec and get back to you with an order, looks like I may be the first Maybe a stupid question but if you change your mind and want to remove the vinyl, I guess it just peels off without any crap left on the paintwork....? Dont forget, do it nice or do it twice Sorry. You saying black lustre is a bad idea? not a fan of Matt or carbon so its a toss up between gloss or lustre and I kinda like the latter Quote
rtbiscuit Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 As long as the paint underneath is good the vinyl should be removable leaving the paint in perfect condition underneath. Best to use heat to remove, same as in application, Quote

I think it'll look good in black. Quote
Av8er Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 My roof is getting carbon wrapped next saturday. Then I should be getting a carbon bonnet this pay day thinking of OEM though, some of the stuff out there looks so barryboy like. Quote
