rabbitstew Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Oil change is really easy on the zed. The biggest and most time consuming part of it was removing the plastic under tray. There was something like 18 bolts holding it on, some of which were all rusty. The oil filter was on the drivers side of the engine near the bottom on my HR model so nice & easy to get to. You will be amazed at how small the oil filter is. It was one of the smallest ive ever seen. Nissan actually use the same filter on nearly all their models, so its the same one as the Nissan Micra & Nissan 4x4`s etc. Quote

Also any more advice on servicing would be much appreciated. Thanks. To actually answer your questions It holds 4.9 litres and the recommended oil is 5w-30 fully synthetic. Motul 8100 is about £30 from Opie oils and if you want something slightly better there is Fuchs Pro Race R which is about £50. Enjoy! Quote
