Nissan customer care vouchers

Bit of an odd question I know but I have been given £100 of Nissan customer care vouchers which have to be used by the beginning of next year and I don't know what to exchange them for. They can be used for the purchase of a new Nissan vehicle (not thinking of upgrading yet), service (just had one under warranty so no need to spend it there) or accessories. So it looks like I will have to put it towards accessories but what do I get? What type of accessories do Nissan do that I might need? Like I said it might be an odd question but the dealerships aren't like John Lewis with all the things you can buy neatly arranged in colour co-ordinated displays so I am a bit lost.

 

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

I would have thought all the official 350Z accessories would have been discontinued by now. But all there really was were mats, boot carpet, vertical toneau cover etc.

Hm, maybe I won't be able to use them then as I really can't think what on earth I could buy!

You could offer them for sale on here (albeit not for their face value)

 

There maybe a member looking to use their local Nissan dealer for a service between now and the beginning of next year. Say for example you sell them for £??, you get £?? in your back pocket without letting the vouchers go to waste and a member gets £100 towards their bill at the cost of £??

You could get one brake bleed valve

 

Prices vary, but somewhere between £80 and £90 depending on the dealer. I believe these count as "bling" as they will be shiny

Send the car in for new brake fluid and coolant if you haven't had it done yourself, should cost about £100 bang on

I know nothing at all about cars I have to admit so no idea how often new brake fluid and coolant needs replacing? I had it done last year so I am guessing it won't need doing yet?

Brake fluid every two years, standard Nissan coolant every three years.

Belts need changed? Have a look under the bonnet at the front of the engine and see if there is any cracking

 

Gearbox or diff oil? If you haven't done it, it may never have been done.

Thank you. I have certainly never done it as I don't even look under the bonnet because I like what is under there to remain a mystery I do have some pretty blue engine bolts, that much I know, but I would be hard pressed to tell you which mechanical bit was which. I will ask Mr Two Bears in case he has any more idea than I do
