its a shame the rear diffuser doesn't marry up with say a set of rear spats.. would look even better if they did

They would if you painted them gloss black!

Trouble is they don't flow, they just look stuck which obviously they are...

Get it painted so it looks like a continuation.

Or a gloss carbon wrapp.

i was thinking of extending the rear spats so the marry up with the rear diffuser so it flows together better

I got that diffuser on mind and I really like it! Got nismo kit with rear spats as well

yeah thats where i got the idea from mate ha.. i just wanted to see if we could make it flow together better so wouldnt have such a gap

I have just fitted that style diffuser on mine and was concerned about it "just stopping" but I actually quite like it. Mine in gloss black though not CF.

That's a very valid point Dave , do you think they'd look better sprayed to match the colour of the car?

I have been having the same problem, with the gap in-between its annoying, would look even better if they married up as you say.

 

I have found an alternative but its expensive, take a look at siebon carbon rear spats there alot longer

I have looked but can only seem to find them in the US and there not cheap.

I did think about a CF unit, but I thought as it is not highly visible I'd go for FRP.
