HEADPHONES Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Getting a P2 service today at 36k miles. Looking at the service book it showed "additional service items" included brake fluid change every 2 yrs and change fuel filter at 36k. Today the teccy at the garage said the fuel filter isn't the easily replacable cartridge type but lo ares deep in the fuel tank. They seemed to think it should be "OK" to leave the replacement. WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS/EXPERIENCE? Quote

ZMANALEX Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 The in tank fuel filter is maintenance free and should not clog up. If it ever does require attention it is only a 15 minute job to pull the pump from the tank. Alex. Quote
