Neil Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 I believe that the optimum torque is 4800 rpm and therefore setting the gear change light to this value is recommended, however, I wonder what you guys set yours to? 4800 rpm was for an '04' plate by the way, is it different for a '56' plate? (300 bhp). Any advice would be greatly welcomed One other quick question... I want to add a front lip and side skirts - has anyone got any good suggestions to where I can buy these please? If there are any price indications that would be fantastic. Come on Jacko...I bet you can help me here? Neil Quote
monkfish Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 I set mine as high as it'll go, cos personally I find the light annoying. But then again I've hit the rev limiter on a number of occaisons!! Quote

Pingu2 Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 why would you want the light to come on at 4800? the car is just getting going around there.. max power isnt till after 6k rpm, and power and torque dont really tail off much till after 6500.. i have mine set for 6600 Quote

Adam@Z1auto.com Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 the greddy lip uses some hardware to attach the front lip - it's quite an easy install the skirts also use screws, and are direct replacement for the factory skirts. Again, a cinch to install Quote

EG chavalicious So I am well am truly confused now... It was hard enough to reach a decision on the Greddy kit. What would you suggest Sarnie? I do not want to go down the NISMO route as it is expensive and I do not like the rear 'fins'. Neil Quote

Neil Neil, The greddy kit is very nice......I've seen a lot of US pics in blue and it rocks. Liam'z also has Greddy front and sides on his I think... can't remember what he got on back. Might be speedracing.... But anyway, Greddy is quality stuff.... Quote
