Hey everyone,

So I recently trundled up to reading to pick up some nice track rays (Cheers A9H-RX!) and swap out the old touring rays which I had previously.

Pretty happy with them overall but wanted to try and sort some of the scuffs out myself. I went onto ebay and found one of those 'DIY repair kits' and set to work this evening.

Here's the before;

After sanding;

After primer;

After paint & lacquer

Then I tried a bigger chip!

Still not perfect but once it's dried I'll go back, sand down and paint again.

Overall - for scuffs, it's excellent! And if you're looking at the wheels like a normal person would, you'd never notice they'd been done. All for less than a tenner!! Of course, I'm not saying this is as good as getting them properly refurbed but for anyone looking to do it on the cheap (aka me after just buying a clutch) then this is the way forward!

Cheers
