pH7's "I'm not going to meddle" build

This is more of a statement of intent than leaps and bounds of action. I bought the car in May 2012 with 172K on the clock.

Originally I was going to keep the car standard and tidy it up a little. Other than fitting an s2000 aerial I almost fitted a rear diffuser but it didn't suit the exhaust on my car and I was convinced that I'd overcome zeditis.

That didn't last though and I think meeting a few of you and constantly reading this forum has nailed it for me. The mod list is growing as are my supplies for cleaning the car thanks to waxybox and autoglym products.

The basics of my car are

From New

Azure GT '04. 172,000 miles. Full history (as far as I can tell)

Dealer fit parking sensors

OEM Vertical tonneau cover

OEM Aluminium kick strips

OEM Luggage net

OEM 350z magnetic tax disc holder!!

Rays alloys

During previous owners time

Powerflow exhaust

Original picccy with full aerial the day after i got it:

remove the leaves from my engine bay and perhaps give it a clean.

Is this due to recent peer pressure?

I saw Mark's Zed very recently and considering it's done twice the mileage of mine and in some cases 3 or 4 times the mileage of other cars, it's wearing the miles very well. A credit to it's former and current owner.

Look forward to seeing your developments mate, I assume you've got the N/S/R tyre sorted now?

Definite peer pressure. The leaves were there to keep it warm in these harsh conditions, just another way i'm looking after it.

Well the tyre it has air in it. I'm toppping up every 3rd day currently until I have chance to drop it in for repair. It isn't losing too much though, must have been how it was parked was opening a wound!

I can only claim to have looked after it for 6500 miles, there is time yet for me to do something stupid!

Chances are this will be the slowest updated thread.

Had to laugh at the beer can, I remember it well.

Thanks Keyser, I'll be in touch shortly.

Nice car and exhaust sounds good :) .......

.......:::Please don't buy eyelids

I only promised that I wouldn't use any money from the skirts to pay for eyelids. On that topic, let me know if you still want first dibs on them otherwise I'll pop them on for sale. As I may have some alloys to buy...

I liked the urban camoflage look ( leaves). So the tyres going to last a few days more then m8.When we gonna meet up again then chaps.

I've contiued the urban camoflage look further by flinging mud up the sides from some country lanes. Given how much paint is missing from stone chips combined with the leaves and mud I think my car is only 5% azure at the moment

That raises a good point on when though.

@Wasso, what are the details of the April event?

April

Drive Meet & Eat

Location (TBC)

So today I fitted the hubcentric spacers 20mm front and 25mm rear, felt like my first proper mod. Test driven and all feels great

In other news, I have agreed a price with Keyser for his 17" wheels. Another thing crossed off the list.

So of course we have to have the obligatory before and after comments.
