JEMAN Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Well i looked under the Z today and it looks like the CATS are still fitted, so the stainless exhaust starts after them. Now my issue is that the Cats look well past there sell by date and one has a hole in it where i can see the gauze stuff inside. This isnt good news, but if i decide to go with no cats fitted will it be an MOT fail on emissions for definate ? Or if i get new cats how much would they be ? I know i can surf the net, but you guys are my first port of call for guidence Cheers Mark Quote
WhackyWill Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 New Cats or pre-owned cats...Ask ZMANALEX :pmzmanalex: and yes' you need them for your MOT wont pass emissions. Quote
JEMAN Posted March 2, 2013 Author Posted March 2, 2013 Cheers Will ! Ill do that mate. Even though the Z looks really tidy with low miles and full service history, she still keeps me on my toes with various issues, but its a labour of love lol and im going to keep on upgrading/replacing parts as and when 1 Quote
Gudzy Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 You also have the option of hi-flow cats which should be a bit less restrictive but still pass the emissions test. 1 Quote
