Engine Management Light :(

Hey guys, Im new to the forums and recently purchased a 350z. The other night i replaced my air filter with a k&n cone filter, in the process i removed what i believe was the mass air flow sensor. When i started the car back up i had an engine management light :/ Ive tried ignoring it and hoping it would go out. Ive also tried disconnecting the battery fully and reconnecting after 15 mins. Im out of ideas and was hoping someone could offer any advice? Thanks

Thankyou :)

I just removed the airbox and fitted the cone to the standard pipe :) Sorry to be a pain, but would you be able to link me to a guide on how to reset them? Thanks

If you are sure the problem is fixed, just disconnect the battery terminals and refit them. This should reset the Malfunction Indicator Lamp. If it comes back on you need to get the error code checked out.
