Chesterfield Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Cant wait to see the UK price tag compared to the land of the rising sun or indeed the US. Looks great though. I like the black A pillars too - gives the front screen that wrap around look like the koenigsegg. Quote
GC350z Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 I’m itching to get behind the wheel of one. As soon as there’s a release date I’m booking a test drive. Guy Quote
Digsy Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Is that the production version then? It ain't pretty but it looks great! Quote
Guest prescience Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 It isn't pretty and neither should it be, that would be all wrong, but it is beautiful Quote
Sarnie Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Looks turd Will defo test drive one though to see what all the fuss is about Quote
Beavis Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 I like it, think the back looks better than the front though Quote
Sarnie Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 I like it, think the back looks better than the front though +1 I like the Skyline like rear lights but the front looks dodgy to me Quote
Billy7766 Posted April 8, 2007 Posted April 8, 2007 I like it, although I agree it's best from behind (as with some many things in life) anyone know what it's selling for in the US and Japan? Quote
Chesterfield Posted April 8, 2007 Posted April 8, 2007 Aparently three versions - price in Japan rumoured to be £29,000 for base model (6 speed manual and 4 pot brembos, £35,000 for V version, which apparently has 7 speed DSG and 6 pot brakes. Top version is like the V version, but with lots of carbon fibre to reduce weight. Maybe £50,000 Once the car gets to the UK, I can imagine those prices being a LOT higher. Quote
captint Posted April 8, 2007 Posted April 8, 2007 I'm sure I'll let you have a lift in mine, for a small fee of course Quote
polarbear Posted April 9, 2007 Posted April 9, 2007 A small prize to the first person to get a Nissan dealer to own up to knowing anything about it Quote
GC350z Posted April 9, 2007 Posted April 9, 2007 Nissan dealer told me last week (Dublin) that Nissan hadn't imformed them about the car yet. Anything they know is from mags and the web. Guy Quote
ir_fuel Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 Like the exterior. Any interior pics? And what are the specs of this thing? Quote
GC350z Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 Like the exterior.Any interior pics? And what are the specs of this thing? Still no offical info available or interior pics. Rumored to be a 3.6 or 3.8 twin turbo. Guy Quote
Zzzz... Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 That will be the actual exterior shape, already announced at the tokyo motorshow 2005 i think it was... As for engines I would not like to speculate but if I remember Nissan recently announced the launch of the all-new second generation 2008 G37 Coupe boasts a larger, more powerful 3.7-liter V6 engine, available advanced 4-Wheel Active Steer system, bla bla bla... I would think that Nissan in Japan would have considered the "upgrade "option of adding a couple of turbos to this engine and making it "a bit" more interesting... If you add to this the Nissan V8 is mainly a truck engine (big SUV's etc...) I think we can make a pretty good guess-timate it will be easily 400bhp, any more than that will be a pleasant surprise...
