Replacement panels

Have had to have a new front bumper ordered for my 370Z as dealer used the wrong template when fitting the parking sensors. The sensors were too close to the number plate assembly, which was being picked up as an obstacle. I've just been told the part will not be in for at least two weeks, but the dealership had no explanation for the delay. Does anyone know if this type of order has to come direct from Japan??

They are showing in stock in Amsterdam which should be 2 day turn around.

 

Japan takes circa 2 weeks providing they have not went on B.O.

Thanks for the information. As with other Nissan parts, I'm sure the dealer could have told me that if they had bothered to check. To be fair it was the guy in service I spoke to, and he probably hadn't spoken to the guy in parts. The bumper was ordered late Friday last week, so when it didn't turn up as he expected today, he probably gave me the worst case scenario. Should be in by Tomorrow or Thursday then. Many thanks again!
