fxn Posted October 18, 2012 Share Posted October 18, 2012 Hello all, So been thinking of exhausty things and was wondering if anyone would be able to help out with couple of simple questions: 1. I saw a thread about CEL light coming on after fitting Berks HFCs, does this happen on the HR or is this just a DE issue and if it is problem for HRs as well where would I be able to get spacers to prevent this from happening? 2. Dual or not dual, I like the idea of a dual and according to youtube/350z-tech comments they sound awesome but worried if they get droney on motorway? Also finding it quite difficult to find what Dual exhausts are available for the HR as quite a few places don't seem to specify listing, I was under the impression the HR and DE exhausts were different though and I know companies like Invidia do separate one for HR to DE. My budget for the exhaust can be anything really up to £1500 or so excluding the HFCs so quite few of them should be within budget except for Amuse and ARC...grrr. 3. Mark@Abbey m/s Posted October 18, 2012 Share Posted October 18, 2012 350Z's it is only HKS that list a different system for the DE/REV UP and the HR cars. The Miltek full system works very well on the HR cats with HFC's or De-cat pipes. 370Z system wont fit on a 350Z either. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
SteveRS Posted October 18, 2012 Share Posted October 18, 2012 The Invidia Gemini true dual exhaust isn't droney on the motorway and will fit the HR and DE 350z. I have recently supplied Andrew (Clown) with an Invidia exhaust for his HR. you can see photos of it fitted in the Redline Styling Customer photos thread. I've just got the nismo cat back with standard cats on my zed, I personally don't need/want HFC's at the moment, I'm more than happy with the way the nismo exhaust sounds without them. If you are, you're more than welcome to come round and have a listen to the nismo exhaust, I could also arrange for Andrew to pop over with the Invidia exhaust so you can hear both. Steve & Tarmac yeah if either of you could find me info on Bassani exhausts (mainly pricing) that'd be fantastic!
