KuroKiddo Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Had a party to attend at Caernaforn, rather then going the direct route M53/A55 I decided to take the scenic route Spend the afternoon driving the most interesting roads in Snowdonia, the B4391 is the particular highlight for me, smooth fast roads with sweeping bends, and the final part of the journey takes me to the Llanberis Pass, winding itself through two of the highest peaks, the scenery was unbelievable Despite being on a Sunday I pretty much had the roads to myself, maybe all the tourists has left by the time I got to Wales in late Sunday afternoon? And the only mobile camera I came across happened on the rare occasion when I got stuck behind a slow moving car Quote
as2bsc Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Car's looking sweet Snaps aren't bad either Some of my faviourite driving roads near Snowdonia, great for mountain biking too Quote
ChrisS Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 I didn't say you could use my roads. If you did the A5 Betws y Coed to Llangollen you went past the bottom of my drive. Quote
KuroKiddo Posted August 10, 2012 Author Posted August 10, 2012 It sure is, it seem to have its own weather system too, one minute its bucketing down go round next corner and it's dry and sunny Should have brought my proper camera too but wasnt stopping too much anyway Quote
KuroKiddo Posted August 10, 2012 Author Posted August 10, 2012 I may well have passed your drive on the way to Bala, you're a lucky man to have roads and scenaries like that right on your doorstep Quote
taffyjason Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 oooooo...the promised land, great car for great scenery Quote
