GC350z Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 More info. A tad more reliable than the Sun. http://news.sky.com/skynews/picture_gallery/picture_gallery/0,,70141-1254419-1,00.html Quote
GC350z Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 That guy that cut his Ferrari in half (I say his Ferrari, but it belonged to the bank) is in Prison in the US on multiple charges. Apparently the bank that owned the cars (another Enzo and a Mercedes Mclaren) are suing for the value of the cars. Other stories suggest they seem to have disapeared. http://news.sky.com/skynews/article/0,, ... 08,00.html The SLR is found lol http://www.autoblog.com/2006/03/29/crazy-enzo-crash-guy-loses-another-whip/ Quote
Stew Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Not great. Although you have to wonder how a million euro car can aquaplane so badly to lose control. You'd think that the tyres would have been better! Quote
GC350z Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 I think the deal with supercars is that they must be driven well by pros who can react to unpredictable situations and repect the conditions. In this case it was driven by a muppet at thought to be a 100 in a 40, clipping an astra resulting in loss of control and binning it. Not my car but I'd still want to deck him if I met him. What a waste. Also, just spotted Sky news have pulled the crash pics off their site. Quote
sl114 Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Im sorry there is no way he was doing 100mph! I am pretty much sure the front end would have been a lot worse than that if he hit something at 100mph! Quote
Sylvester Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 He may have been doing 100 when the accident started...ie clipped the astra - may have travelled some distance and scrubbed off a lot of speed before the final impact.... giving him time to contemplate his future job prospects.... Quote
