dave1221 Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 do people thing these would fit a Zed with heated electric seats fitted? Quote
spursmaddave Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Alzean I would guess, unless someone skinned David Dickinson I have a cigarette burn in my david dickinson passenger seat, this could be the answer Sounds like the real deal to me Are Zed heated seats any bigger than non heated Quote
KyleR Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Actually no, they won't fit GT leather seats as there are no cut outs/indents for the electric controls. I think these are meant as an upgrade for base model seats. Damn, I was thinking about buying them too... Quote

But I believe the base has to be glued to the swab to stop movement. there was a u-tube on fittment somewhere. Well worth a bid as I would most definately get them if my leather was orange. Quote
spursmaddave Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 I was going to say surely you could do the cut outs yourself Quote
KyleR Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 I had a look at the seats after seeing these, yes in theory you could just cut it out, but the stitching of the seat follows the contours of the seat controls, so you'd have to being them to a leather workshop of sorts to get them to modify them. However, if they can be won cheaply enough, it'd be a great deal still. Quote
Watshot Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Is that not a picture of two drivers seat squabs though? The passenger seat doesn't have a bulge section between the legs at the front. Not interested myself, but just wondered as he says to check the photos to make sure it's right for your car (usual disclaimer stuff). Maybe worth checking if anyone's thinking of buying. Quote
4RE Leather Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 The fact that he has said these are genuine oem replacements not cheap rubbish should be enough. And the price is about what Nissan charge. I believe we have a Nissan workshop manager on the forum and certainly WLMG follow the posts so maybe one of those could look on there parts list to confirm. If you can get them below £200 you cant go wrong. However 1 they are not an easy fit and you will need a lot of patience. The pattern is different which is akin to some of the the Skyline version leather. I think it is worth the risk as you are covered by Paypal. If anyone does buy them. Dont cut out the holes for the switches until you are 100% sure. Quote
4RE Leather Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Update on my last post. take a look at the black example. It is a picture of the passenger seat. The airbag bit is missing!!!! Based on this alone they cant be OEM or am l missing something!! You need to ask this guy some serious questions. Like a photo of the Airbag side! Quote
dave1221 Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 i think they are basically saying its a genuine leather kit from Transcal, not a genuine nissan leather kit "This auction is for a genuine Transcal leather interior" Quote
4RE Leather Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Then stating its worth £600 is double the truth! For £600 Taras might know some one. And l know of at least 2 people who will renew for around that price. Quote
wide Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 Hi, I bought them, but im not sure if i want them now! I didnt really expect to win & as ive got black leathers im not sure if i can be bothered to change them over. They would revamp any tired leathers! So i guess i'm open to sensible offers. Pm me if your interested. Thanks. Matt (Wide) Quote
dave1221 Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 i was watching them but again unsure as whether to bid or not to replace my tan leathers. i was expecting them to go for a bit more! Quote
4RE Leather Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 Sit on them Matt They are worth double what you paid for them. Never make a decision in hast. All you need to do it clean the steering wheel gear and hand brake or replace those from Redline Goods in Poland And your laughing. Peter Quote
