Get a Nissan estimate of repair.

I have :D

It's now been written off, estimated repair cost got close to 22k, at which point they decided to write the car off and simply replace it with a new one.

2007 Temper Orange Nismo GT has been ordered and due mid August :D

Simon,

Have you managed to see anthing in the flesh (colour sample) etc about the Orange?

I have to admit to being interested, dying to see one on the flesh etc....

I haven't mate, all I am basing it on are these pictures and website.

btw the second picture is supposedly the same colour car under harsh lighting.

Mmmmm I love the look of the orange in that first pic! Looks exactly the same as the sort of orange I love. I've seen the dealers press pack yesterday for 07 model and it looks much paler in that (but it was a graphic pic, not an actual pic)......

The second pic looks more like UY than orange!

Keep me informed Simon if you get any more decent pics?

There are some good ones in the my350z.com link, some on page 3 that you can actually see the pearl fleck in the paint.... ;)

I'm sure the nismo'd zed in those pics is actually Solar Yellow and not the Orange that we are getting. :)

Solar Orange is the colour name in the states for the Temper Orange here....

But I know what you mean. Its a strange colour in pics though, sometimes looks paler than others!

As you may know I have seen it in the flesh and its much closer to the first pic, does not look yellow but more of a green tint if anything.

Good, thats the colour I like!

Pictures tell a thousand words.

M11 sliproad at Birchanger Services (Stansted) heading towards Cambridge at 7.45 in the morning :(

Now that it has been decided to scrap this vehicle...the scavengers start to appear.... Am i right in thinking there is a "donor" vehicle in some scrapyard near the M11, if someone needed a few interior trim parts?

If so do you know where the insurance people would put this vehicle...?
