spawn Posted March 17, 2012 Author Posted March 17, 2012 Thanks guys, blacks so hard to get right tbh, but when it is it looks stunning.. I used 3m Green top over 1500/2000 wet and dry, followed by yellow top and Blue top... then hand wax'd. Pretty pleased with the result, customer collects 2moz morning Quote
leonk Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 Very nice! As you might have guessed from previous post I have always liked these. Looking at the centre console, external boot hinges and replica spinners I would say it's a Dax or AK? Detailing job looks fantastic Quote

Dynamic Turtle Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 Awesome. Must steal/borrow/lease one. If only for a day Quote
bronzee Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Looks lovely. They're a bit of a pain to detail too with the wheels and the pipes. Last one I did was about 4 years ago, ruby red with the normal white stripes. Quote
ioneabee Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 This one turned up at my house last weekend - my son then invited for a quick spin out in it 5.7ltr V8 chevvy short block engine - took him 3 1/2 years to build - to make this even more impressive, this guy broke his back 20 years ago, in permanent pain and on sticks (so sort of lucky not to be in a wheelchair) the good looking fella in the passenger seat luckily doesn't follow his dad in the handsome stakes Quote
