As for similar types of 'saves' my favourite, possibly even more so than Mark Higgins well known Isle of Man antics, is Katayama's 200 mph + puncture save at the 1999 Le Mans just as the Toyota was heading in to Indianapolis. Utter instinct reaction driving at the very best and amazing car control, mainly because he makes it look so easy. Quote
