Removed Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 man if I spent £2k on a set of wheels I would want them to satisfy all of those carachteristic Quote
Zzzz... Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 or... how about YOU design your UNIQUE wheels that you want? you can even have them certified as being 1 OFF's ... How I hear you ask.... mmmmm simple go to BRAID.ES They are quite famous in the continent... but not in UK. http://www.braid.es/billet/llantas/tecl ... llaENG.htm Quote
Stew Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 I doubt you'd get change of 2k though..... Quote
bigphil Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 I doubt you'd get change of 2k though..... And a bit more. We had a set made for a customer in belgium for a 300ZX which we wide bodied, wheels had negative offset and cost over £5k Quote
Stew Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 Ha ha! that sucks! If I was spending 5k on rims then I'd want something REALLY good. Like a lovely set of big brakes included! M|aybe suspension too! Quote
Removed Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 WORK wheels can have any custom offset you like and sometimes any colour you want. That's as close as custom wheels as you can get. Quote
rickya Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 Definetley 18's will give better handling/ride than 19's on the zed, all Jap track/ tunning companies are going for 18's & even 17's. 19's may look better aesthetically as bigger proportionatley to rubber. But IMO key to having a great wheels look & stance is alloy wheel width & offset. (Especially when deciding between 18 & 19 there is not much diff. might be if e.g. 17 & 19 inch) Finally gap between arch & tyre, & z on std suspension is quite low anyway so not really such an issue in this case. IMO its just alloy/tyre width & offset that are important for that perfect stance. ps Phils is almost spot on! Quote

rmmackfc Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 I was very very close to buying those I already have Just waiting for them to arrive Cool Where you get em? How much? Quote
Ian Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Ordered them from Envy Performance, Ive ordered the time attack editions I think they were around 2k without tyres Quote
rmmackfc Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Time attacks are smart , and will look awesome your GM Z. You'll need to post some pics when you get em fitted. 2ks not bad there about £1500 in the US, but the time you add shipping and customs...2k sounds good. I'm still trying to find them cheaper... What tyre sizes you go for? Quote
Ian Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Not sure about the tyres yet, will sort that once the wheels are in the country . As soon as they are on ill have a few pics up Quote
Digsy Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 What you reckon to these... Volks CE28Ns 19"..... I want these... Nice wheels. Quote
