JetSet
This seems to be a hot spot for spotting Zeds just lately . This one was seen leaving ASDA at 14:30 today...reg was OE 06 ***, thinking this could be Fodders car but didn't get a good view of the driver. Fodder
Yep that was me.... I quite like "Asda" itself as it's usually pretty good value I just really dont like the clientele so couldnt get out of there quick enough

Fodder
Its all a bit pajama party in there isn't it! They can be like that and I'm not sure why it just seems to be Asda.... mind you the little one is Saltney is a rather interesting experience. That said my real gripe with stores these days are that you as a customer spending hard earned cash in the store seem to be a mere inconvenience to them.... and Morrisons seem to be top of the pile for this. Some (Laura my other half) would say I'm just a grumpy old git

I was in Shotton on Saturday visiting my mum . Don't like the place and I can say this because I grew up in Shotton. I was lucky, as soon as I could I went to live in Chester for a few years. Then when Steph and I bought our first house.............. I got out for good alive.
Fodder
Yeah I hear you with regards to the area this is located in but I'm from a very similar background to those places you mention but I still remember to put my day clothes on as well as take my manners with me when I go shopping. I actually thank people when I hold doors open for them and they fail to acknowledge my existance... actually I do this in work too and it gets some funny looks.... also it's not limited to the lower end of the shopping scale either.... as I said I'm just a grumpy old git
Ricey
To be honest Fodder I don't think its really confined to specific area's anymore.......the mentols have spread everywhere and have infected the gene pool far and wide. Upton Morrisons (I'd say Upton was a really nice area - you can count the rough streets on one hand) is oft frequented by the bloke who is dressed as a woman wearing bright pink leg warmers and wrist bands.........if he/she's not shopping then she/he is taking in a casual lunch with her friend......the midget. Strewth!
JetSet
It's surprising just how far people travel to get to the ASDA in Queensferry, from all over The Wirral, Chester and North Wales. P.S Fodder, your car needs a clean ....so does mine, if I mentioned when it was last cleaned I'd probably get a 7 months ban (hint) . Good job Silvers don't show the dirt I guess! Come on guys what do you expect. Queensferry,Shotton, Connahs Quay it's depressing driving through them. What makes it worse is that you rarely get above walking pace on the coast road so there's plenty of time to take in the "sights". Fodder
Ha ha ha I was waiting for the needs a clean comment We had an item in mind thats why we went there... but we did go along the coastal road up to Holywell when we left as we hadnt been along that way for a while. We both commented on how run down it is (more so than I last remember)... we are considering buying a place together so we tend to have a drive to places we havent been to for a while. Upton is favourite (thats where she is from) but far overpriced for what you get so Ewloe/Buckley/Penyffordd triangle sort of area is looking good but lousy public transport links into Chester... we still need to socialise
Squee
Does anyone know if the Asda Queensferry has 98 in the petrol station? Mr Squee's been entrusted with Zoomer today and is going to fill him up. He usually buys his diesel from Asda there and I hope he's not going to put 'stripey brand' petrol in if there's no 98! Fodder - we were very lucky and managed to buy in Waverton but had prior been recommended Rosset...didn't get as far as viewing properties but from looking online it looked like a very nice area and good prices. Guess transport might be a bit crap like the other areas you mention but Chester's quite rubbish full stop for public transport I've found. Ricey - Midget man/woman sounds awesome! sounds like it'll be worth a trip to Morrisons just for that! S
