simon da silva Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Hello Boys N Girls. I was looking for a true dual exhaust system and found this off fleebay. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350Z-C ... 2a16b896d0 Looks to be quite nice.. ofcourse its not nismo quality but looks quite cool to be honest.. and the car is allready on jackstands, since im installing a few other goodies K-Sport BBK KW V3 Coilovers SPC Wishbones + extras.. Sooo i think i would give it the final treat and install a brand new exhaust system Quote
Tarmac@TarmacSportz Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Looks like the HKS replica. No experience as replicas aren't my thing but I have read they are cheaply made and fitment isn't great. Someone with more experience would probably be better to offer opinion Quote
rtbiscuit Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 its an HKS copy, there was people supplying them on here, and were known to fit, the ones on ebay, aren't Quote
Watshot Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Don't know if you have a JDM, but it says not suitable for UK model without adjustment to rear hangers. Quote
dragon Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 I wouldn't take the chance mate far better to pm tarmac for a price on a scorpion if on a budget or if youv'e got the dosh invidia Quote
simon da silva Posted December 21, 2011 Author Posted December 21, 2011 well its not a JDM i have.. since i live in DK, i bought my 350z in Germany but original its a US import. Would like to find somebody who acctually had it fittet so i will know if it fits good.. dont want to be bending the brackets bigtime to have it straight. Just running on a tight budget at the moment Quote
Zugara Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Please Note This is designed for the JDM/Euro Models Not the UK I had one on my z. you will need mods to get around the diff. any good exhaust shop should be able to do it for you. great sounding zorst too. Quote

Shinjuku Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 Can you see them when it is installed on the car? Quote
DoogyRev Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 Can you see them when it is installed on the car? Not really, You can a bit if you do a bumper tuck, but even then you need to be at kerb level Quote
Shinjuku Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 And what is their function. To make the exhaust louder or quieter? Quote
HaydnH Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 And what is their function. To make the exhaust louder or quieter? It's not a noise thing, it's a performance thing. Similar *theory* but with a different product : http://www.importtuner.com/tech/impp_10 ... ewall.html Quote
Shinjuku Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 Thanks mate. Every day is a school day! Quote
Shinjuku Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 So where do there stand on the noise level? How do they compare to scorpion, oe, k2, k1 etc? Quote
Jimmy P Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 I'm pretty sure it's the same as the one I've got on my car (I will check when I get home and confirm), if so it sounds very good for a budget zorst, nice throaty tone under heavy load but a tiny bit drony at cruising speed. Can't comment on any effect to performance though as it was on the car when I bought it. Quote
Jimmy P Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 Check out my intro picture thread, 3rd picture down shows it, pretty sure it's the same... http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=56302&start=0 Quote
