*Benj* Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 hi, Relatively new to the forum, and apologies if this is a repetitive post. As I have discovered my 04 GT the pipe from the back box has come away from the flange, where the centre pipe meets the back box pipe. I have been to the local welders and have been advised that welding will not solve the problem as the flange piece is corroded itself. Can someone please advise my potential solutions and where to get the problem solved? I am from Manchester/ barnsley (s yorks) I cannot afford a new system at the moment, with Christmas approaching etc. Any help would be appreciated Cheers Quote

narcotix Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 It's a very common issue on the exhaust system ... I had the same problem last year as well ... The welder I went to cut away the existing flange and replaced it with a similar flange he had lying around ... not had any problems with it since. Quote
