Having had Cookbot SatNav system fitted recently I'm selling the original Nissan BirdView satnav dated 2005. Comes with:

 

- screen

- remote + wire/sensor

- CD unit

- original disk

Out of interest did you use anything to cover the square hole left by the DVD Rom drive??

How hard is it to fit?

 

I've heard it can be updated, how do you do this?

Is it perfectly ok for UK roads?

Here you go, on my car while it was standard as it came from the factory.

 

 

Steps I've taken to remove were quite easy, doing them in reverse to install, it took me about 30 minutes.

Nissan allow their mechanics 3 hours to fit.

Do these have an off switch?

 

Mines has this fitted and it works quite well. I just have never found out how to turn it off. It seems wrong just to close the flap over a still on screen. Maybe I just missed the off button!

Where does the cd deck bit fit in the car and is it just the screen on show behind the cubbyhole door?

The drive fits in the rear cubby but it still leaves space in there.

Mines a JDM so would be direct replacement however im unsure if all the wiring is the same, plugs etc do you know if it is??and are you open to cheeky offers
