DoubleDeuce1973 Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Hi, Thinking of changing the stock wheels to rays and wondering whether anyone has a set lying around that they are looking to get rid of? Will be looking to get them refurbed so need to get them at a good price. Quote
Southernspeed Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 I think Mark at Abbey had a set, could be worth a call 01883 732331 Quote
DoubleDeuce1973 Posted July 4, 2011 Author Posted July 4, 2011 Yeah I am just waiting on a response. To be honest, I was hoping a forum member would have an old set available so I could get cheapest price possible. All traders are going to have to put a mark up on them to make their money. Quote

DoubleDeuce1973 Posted July 6, 2011 Author Posted July 6, 2011 Hi Neil. Really depends on condition of the wheels. Had a couple of people contact me but waiting on further info and photo's. Traders have advised £700 ish for a quality set but hoping to get a set all in for around £500 max including refurb if required (which I can get for around £250). Quote
Neilp Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 I don't think you will have any chance of getting a set for 250quid plus 250quid refurb. Best to save a bit longer. For a messy set you will still pay around 400quid Quote
DoubleDeuce1973 Posted July 6, 2011 Author Posted July 6, 2011 I have had a couple of people mention £250, just waiting on further info. Alex offered £400 for a used set Quote
CMR Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 You won't get a kerbed set of rays for under £400 TBH as Neil said, cheapest refurb is £50 a wheel so i'd budget £600~ Quote
