lukekbrown Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 Guys, Can you confirm if these wheels will fit a 350Z http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/18-NISSAN-200-SX- ... 5d25b54d0a Quote
Dblock Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 I would email rarerims and Tarmac see if they could hook you up. Quote
coldel Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 They look the right size, although you can buy 19s for about the same price? Quote
rtbiscuit Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 if your going for new wheels, don't bother with 18's 19's is the way forward Quote
Lee@MK Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 but with 19"'s will the ride be a bit harder or is that only a 20" problem? Quote
buster Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 if your going for new wheels, don't bother with 18's 19's is the way forward wise words...... Quote
rtbiscuit Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 19's are not a bad ride, 20's are for those who don't use their car on a regular basis. i doubt you'll notice the difference on 19's apart form the drive should be sharper on the turn in. less tyre = less tyre roll = more grip. and also 19's tend to be wider, so again, more grip. Lee@MK Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 Right then 19"s is definitely the way forward then! Thanks for the advice. Quote
ben@RARE RIMS Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 They're not overpriced for 18s You pays your money and takes your choices I guess, but that's actually a pretty fair price There are cheaper 18s out there, but they aren't the same product, all wheels are not created equal We however find by far and away the most popular wheels on 350s are the 19s. They seem to work really well in terms of a looks/handling/ride compromise Quote
coldel Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 I was thinking more along the lines that you can buy 19s for the same price, surely 18s of the exact same make and model should be somewhat cheaper than 19s? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Rota-GTR-19x10-5x114-et20-alloy-wheels-EVO-10-X-/150601683833?pt=UK_CarParts_Acc_Wheels_tyres_Trims_Car_Rims_ET&hash=item23108f5379 Quote
lukekbrown Posted June 6, 2011 Author Posted June 6, 2011 What is the best setup for the Rota GTR's? I.e. offsets etc. I love the concave on the rears, what offset would be required to achieve that? Quote
ben@RARE RIMS Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 The concave is a feature of the width, in an 18" wheel they'll be 9.5" to get the concave, in the 19s the 9s have a little concave, the 10s have lots Quote
