Clicking From Clutch Pedal

Does anyone elses clutch pedal make like a clicking sound when the clutch is pressed even with the engine off.

Yes mines does it half way down; it's like a slight lump. Been told it's the characteristics of the car. Check another few 06 revup models and they were the same

thats good thanks already splashing out on new feet for the car this month didn't really want something else to get in the way of mods thanks.

No probs mines has done it since I got it with 16k on clock. I'm sure more people will be along to share their experiences

It's the same with mine pre-facelift <06..no difference even after i had replaced the clutch.

Facelift 06 and I have the same click - although only getting when lifting off the clutch. It probably happens on average 2 out of 10 clutch depressions, if that?

Mine isn't a JDM but clicks sometimes near the top of the pedal travel when pressing the clutch.

I don't think it has always done it, but has for quite a while now, without getting any worse.

I think Spursmaddave has that issue too, can't remember if he said Abbey sorted it when he was in there earlier this week, I'm sure he knows what it is though he'll be along at some point.

No clicking on mine but I've had this issue on other cars, if my experience is anything to go by then it's difficult to get rid of. Several dealers had a go at fixing it without success, it was sent to a main Ford RS dealer in Leeds and in the end and stayed there for 3 weeks until the factory came up with a solution. Even then it clicked now and again, it was as if it was catching on something, you could actually feel the click through your foot. Definitely the most annoying problem I've ever had
