yankeesiter Posted December 29, 2010 Share Posted December 29, 2010 Following the recent bad weather, the thaw has exposed some new and unwelcome potholes around here which I'm pretty sure will be low on the list of the ConDems priorities. Because the Zed rides like it has no suspension, I normally baby it over rough roads. With even more potholes to contend with I'm bound to have an even longer queue of irritated Micra, Escort, Punto, etc. drivers tailgating me. geoff-r Posted December 29, 2010 Share Posted December 29, 2010 The Zed's suspension is amazingly forgiving. Very comfortable. With that said if you hit a pothole your suspension won't save you and your tyre will cop it. I've seen after the thaw the roads are in a terrible state, they didn't need much help in the first place but running 40 profile tyres on the shed was not a bright idea especially considering they're 18s. On even the roughest roads round here it is still really smooth compared to most performance orientated cars. What tyres are you running?
