ThomasSoerensen Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 http://www.tiremoni.eu/ What do you guys think about this one? I can get the TM-100 incl 4 sensors on Amazon.de for 139 EUR. It seems sensible to me. Quote
Zugara Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 Looks good till some kid nicks one of the caps. Quote

rtbiscuit Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 it looks good, but i prefer the ones where the sensor is mounted inside the wheel. nothing to nick sadly the UK doesn't offer civilised. as we have chav scum in wide abundance. Quote
Ekona Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 Actually, assuming they're accurate then for temporary track use they're actually a really good idea. Quote

Andy Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 I can supply a similar system where the sensor is located inside the wheel if it is of any interest to you. viewtopic.php?f=129&t=16539&start=0 Quote

rtbiscuit Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 the only downside with the in tyre setup is that i don't keep cars all that long so chaniging the system over to the next car might be a pian for me as i'd have to take the tyres off to get the inside ones off. i'm liking the external fit ones, just peed off i don't trust the general british public. Iv'e had 2 sets of dust caps pinched If I ever see anyone bent down near one of my wheels I will engage boot first and ask questions later Quote
rtbiscuit Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 the ones for tiremoni do look lik e stock black ones, so might escape the light fingers of our local scum. Quote
spursmaddave Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 Back on subject I have tyre sensors built in as standard on my Leon and have never had a peep out of them, I check my tyres regularly anyway so maybe that's why. It's not something I would add on unless I was running the car on a track, it's not really a chore to check the pressures, I got a little electronic gizmo off the net for about £5 Quote
