Hi Guys

 

I am looking to buy a 350, and love what i think is the post 06 orange colored slits on the front of the 350?

are these the indicators ?

 

you can see what i mean clearly here, see the orange slit?

can i mod a 350 without this to look like this easily and with what cost?

are you talking about the vertical reflector in the front bumper or the orange stripe in the headlamp?

the vertical reflector? The largest block of oranage in the bumber section? Is this all this part is ? If so can it be brought to be solid orange like the picture?

I believe you are talking about the reflectors in the bumper?

 

If so, no mod required as they all have them as far as I know unless they have been modified for led's etc.

i'm not into modifying so one of the others might be able top help.

 

I've got a 2006 model and it has the same orange reflector. you must be able to buy it as a spare part incase you or a stone crack it.

 

what year car are you wanting to attach it too?

hmmm, i maybe wrong but i am yet to see a pre 2006 version with them as strong looking as the example i have posted?

you see what I mean? I assumed in 2006 they made this alot brighter and almost non reflective and simply full on bright orange all the time (as per original post example)

they all come orange as standard, the second link you posted has smoked reflectors.

the car in the first picture is a pre 06 car just a different angled picture.

the orange reflectors are on both pre and post 06.

on the post 06 they face forward and on the pre they face sideways.

The bright orange you see is the stock look.

They can be changed (and commonly are) for smoked orange or clear.

you can also paint them.

also they came as an option on JDM cars as LED ones with 6 LED's and a silver backing.

+1, never noticed. Another nice addition in the post 06 that i've noticed are the orange LED's in the side of the headlamp. Didn't know about it before i bought the car and noticed the reflection in the window of a shop when i switched them on one evening.

The lines around the reflectors are different too.

 

On the MY03 the reflector is at the front with the lines going back. On the MY06 the reflector is at the back with the lines going into them.

 

Very subtle!

 

And the reflectors are a different shape!
