Envy Valeting Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 A challenging paint correction detail for Envy Valeting saw me tackle this Range Rover over 3 days (and I needed every minute of them!) Some of you may remember this car from 2008 when I carried out a protection detail on it. This time it got serious Wheels cleaned 1st with Espuma Revolution at 10:1, envy brushes, ez detail and rinsed. Door shuts etc sprayed with Espuma G202. Snow foamed with bubbly jubbly and left to dwell. Rinsed off then washed with Espuma Astro shampoo, tbm and a Z sponge. Rinsed off and dried, then brought indoors. Looks ok But isn't! With the sun gun This is how a car looks when you use a dustpan brush that had previously been used to sweep up broken glass! Car was then measured to make sure we had enough to machine polish, taped up and work began. I tried several polish/pad combo's and settled on Scholl Concepts S17 and a Blue 3m pad for the coarse polish stage. Bonnet looks better Refinement was by way of Ultrafina and a soft black 3m pad. The car was cleaned up, de-dusted, paint cleansed then waxed with Swissvax Best of Show wax. Tyres dressed, tail pipes polished, plastics dressed, glass cleaned and the interior was full detailed too. The afters And proof of the pudding, daylight! Thanks for looking and hope you dont have nightmares! Tim Quote
