muckyman Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 Hi to everyone, Potential new owner here. I've just taken a deposit on my TVR which should be fully paid for and collected next week. One of the cars I've been considering as a replacement is the 350Z. Anyhow, to cut to the chase - is it possible to get a decent manual 350Z for £8k or less, or will they generally be shoddy and need a bit of work (either as repair or expensive scheduled servicing/consumables). I've had imported cars before so JDM isn't an issue, but I don't want poverty spec. The must haves are manual, air-con (which works!) good leather and a UK compatible stereo (I don't want a JDM sat-nav unit that won't work in the UK) So, opinions please - is it possible. Any links to good examples are welcomed many thanks Michael Quote
James B Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 I think at £8k you might be able to get a JDM that fits the bill but may struggle to get a UK GT Spec. I'd see if I could scape up another £1k to make sure you get a good example. Quote
muckyman Posted August 13, 2010 Author Posted August 13, 2010 Thanks for the reply James. I could get another £1k but I've set my limit at £8k max. Could be that a decent example is out of reach and I'll have to go to another of my choices as replacement. Any more opinions or examples..... Quote
martinmac Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 Hi and welcome to the forum. You may just be able to get one for 8k but there wont be many to choose from. If this one is as advertised it may be worth considering, the traders on here can supply the parts. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1952999.htm Looking on Pistonheads there are quite a few just over 8k which are worth xhecking out.
