Got a real nice sound to that :)

See you got a D1 spec throttle controller. Does it really make a difference cos i was looking at getting one myself. Where did you get it from?

Cheers

Got mine from Zmanalex and yes it does make a difference  makes the car a lot more lively :scare:

Its got a lovely sound, I have the bungs in as I live in a residential area :bose:

Yeah i have old biddy's living each side next door so don't think they'd like the growl of a new exhaust without bungs in haha. Will have to give zmanalex has any left. How much was your exhaust by the way? was it easy to fit?

Zmanalex almost always has everything!

I got the exhaust from Sarah (ChilliRed)

Abbey fitted it for me, apparently a very good fit

Well i see a Scorpion Exhaust for £350 but could go up another £100 i know its not alot but am sure i can get something i like

That doesn't include a Y pipe though, the militek or buddy club do, so are really only about £150-£200 dearer.

CS Does a Blueflame Cat back system that includes a Y pipe, not sure who has one though

FYI. 3 x Blueflame. 1 x K1. K1 made me go mental so swapped after a month.

Get a quote from Blueflame direct from their factory in Liverpool and haggle! £650 their price online but some of their suppliers sell it cheaper. From memory motorsportworld.co.uk and dcperformance.co.uk

From my experience of oem to quiet y back Exhaust , adding y pipe and now some berk cats I'd say unless your the really loud exhaust type I'd go with one if the quieter exhausts as others gave mentioned to start with . If it's not enough add HFCs they make quite a big change. My fujitsubo was quiet then lil growly and now quite racey so all the bits add up.

I'm tempted by HFC's. Anyone know if any of the traders do an 'amazing' price on them?

Cheers, Ant.

Sarah (Chilli Red) did me a good price on a pair of Berk HFCs recently and she was a pleasure to deal with.

The HFCs have made the car a fair bit louder and a little more aggressive-sounding. TBH, I'm tempted to just fit a larger-diameter Y-pipe and keep the stock exhaust because it sounds fantastic!
