Couple of useful differences on JDM but not UK

I keep finding little bits that were included on the early JDM's but removed from the UK cars for some reason and I can't figure out any logical reason for removing them?

 

> Auto roll up/down windows on both Driver and Passenger.

 

> 20 seconds of power to the windows after turning the car off to allow you to roll up the windows if you forgot to do it before switching the car off.

 

Anyone else noticed little things like this?

I have only just realised these weren't standard on UK cars when people mention it to me. Only ever having the JDM I just thought it was all normal!!

JDM for the win... thought all Z's had that.

Mine's the same year as yours Dan - didn't know the windows had power after turning off the ignition - i'll have a try with mine later! My seat belts do a funny thing when you turn the ignition off - they make a clunking noise and grip you - do yours do that?

thats the belt tensioner... surely the UK ones has that too?!

everyone i know with a uk car who's been in mine when i turn off the ignition has said 'what was that' as it clunks and grips them...........

I dont think I have ever put my seatbelt on before starting the car! Will try it tonight

no Dan - when you have your belt on and then you turn the ignition OFF.

My JDM does that with the seat belts, again thought this was standard!!

UK models have electric mirrors, but not the auto dip option when you select reverse

 

JDM's also have heated front windscreen as an option

Eh you said option for the windscreen not the auto dip...

Also JDM's can be set to open both doors when you press unlock on your remote, don't think UK cars can do this, you need to unlock twice. Or mines doesn't allow me to, that's for sure.

As if the UK car doesn't have this!! Windows after ignition off is invaluable, I hated the fact that my focus didn't have this as I was always having to put the key back in to do the windows

Don't JDM's have the passenger seatbelt holder as well? to stop seatbelt rattling around when no ones using it.
