rtbiscuit Posted June 10, 2010 Share Posted June 10, 2010 he probably removed himself as after offering 2 bumpers for free he only realised that he only had 1 that actually fitted. i had some side skirts from rik, my bodyshop did comment on the quality of the fibre glass and that it was very good. it was a decent thickness and well made. but the issue was fitment. my bodyshop got it to fit but it ended up needing them being bonded to the side and not using just the fixings. the overall look was good, but i had to pay for it at my end as it increased the spray and fitting costs alot. what was the biggest kick in the teeth was when asked would this be a direct fit with no problems, i was told (and nievely believed) they are a perfect fit, no need for adjustments just bolt straight on. thanks a fcuking bunch Rik, good bye and good ridance. i know more about Riks business ethics, but its not my place to say. i'm just glad it was the 1 run in, and i learnt alot about several traders with that experience. enough to say i was alot more careful with my choice of suppliers in the future.
