UNABASHED Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 Just removed two blanking plates from behind the front grille, looked at a few pics of others bumpers and they don't seem to have them. Before I refit the bumper can someone tell me if they serve any purpose? Pic of one of the offending items.... Quote
Ekona Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 They're probably there on the stock bumper to channel airflow through the rad and prevent lift at the wheels. I very much doubt that there's any issue you'd notice whilst driving without them though. Quote
UNABASHED Posted June 5, 2010 Author Posted June 5, 2010 Cheers Ekona! And Nix - the hacksaw is old news, it's all about the dremel now! Quote
UNABASHED Posted June 5, 2010 Author Posted June 5, 2010 pic now added of one of the blank plates Quote
Shaun1982 Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 Get some pics up when your re-bumpered again dude Quote
UNABASHED Posted June 5, 2010 Author Posted June 5, 2010 all I need to do now is get the arch on and refit everything. Then once my numberplate bracket and clear side reflectors arrive I can go through it all again Quote
Chris`I Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 Don't need them as said above but they will aid the airo in some way. Unless you need to leave them off, I would refit them, it's only 3 poppers in each one anyway Quote
