i just paid 435 about 6 weeks ago but based on what someone else posted the other day that should go down next year

 

its all about when the car was first registered, so for imports its when the car was first registered in its orginal country.

 

something like that

Why don't you get a refund for the the tax you have remaining on the car and then simply just purchase it again ... Wouldn't you be better off that way?

Trouble is the info keeps changing doesnt it, and its also one of those topical things that people will usually not bother reading until it comes to that time of year.

If people searched before posting up and added their info to the bottom of an existing thread, then yes. ;)

 

Yeh but tax is a 3 letter word, which we cant search for... ;)

yes i agree with that too. The same things are bound to crop up over and over - its only us oldies that have heard them all before!
