I have since been busy trying to locate and sort it out.

All your suggestions were undertaken with no avail.

I jacked the car up and lubed the drop links and all the suspension mounts etc.... no avail.

Lubed all rubber door seals. Nagh... Getting really annoyed now.:angry:

Anyway cut a long story short, it turned out the be the small rubber door buffer pad....... put some silicon spray in it and hey presto creaking gone. :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

Try hating rattles and then throwing a k1 in the works.

that must be like chinese water torture

Lol it's worse, I've tried everything to quieten it except dynamat. But I don't think anything will solve it. From outside you can feel the ground vibrating when the cars idleing. At a certain frequency every bit of trim in the car buzzes, torture doesn't even come close.

Had the same problem with a creak coming from the back of my Z. It went away for a while after opening and closing the rear hatch. Turned out to be the two rubber bump stops where they were fixed to the hatch. I tried silicon spray, but after a while that dried out. I finally fixed it by using silicon grease which lasts much longer.
