Awesome price, I shall be booking in the next couple of weeks accomodation wise, apart from the weekend with the Z club where I shall be staying at the campsite with them (in a mobile home though, no tents for debbie ) after that I will be wanting to stay in B&B's mostly, and will do some research closer to the time. Also, has anyone checked what is on at Spa during those dates and is the Ring open then etc. I suspect many like me will be interested in the Spa / Ring part of the trip, so the more activities then the better AFAIK.. Removed Posted February 7, 2007 Author Share Posted February 7, 2007 some details on the planned weekend with teh Z club guys: Friday evening : After-noon : Relax at camping then down to our house and buffet dinner Evening : Ciné-Scénie at Puy du Fou Saturday : Morning : Up not too early and off to Mervent Forest Midday : Tracys' picnic eaten in Mervent. After-noon : (possible) visit to Vouvant, then the Donjon at Bazoges, gardens and small eco-museum. Evening : Meal at a very local Ferme Auberge and back for bar-propping for the serious players ! Saturdays' programme includes pic-niking above the lake at Mervent and then onto the donjon at Bazoges. Sunday : Morning : Karting at Argenton-Château Lunch-time BBQ at camping site After-noon : Boules, swimming, relax…. Removed Posted May 1, 2007 Author Share Posted May 1, 2007 been looking at the itinerary/stops more closely now... day 1 8th June manchester-dover-boulogne-Loire (long day but should be doable) 4 nights in the Loire valley with the Z clubs (UK and France!) 12th June Loire-Spa is over 450 miles so I think we'll have to stop somewhere 13th arrive to Spa, visit to the Town, relax 14th visit somethign else in the area Accomodation to be decided by each party (will post my choice soon) 15, 16,17 June Spa Euro race, Francochamps circuit click here for details of the event 18, 19, 20, 21 June Nurburg, visit surroundings, RING! 22 June Travel back to Boulogne-sur-mer, overnight somewhere 23 June ferry to Dover and back home Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
