This wont be everyone's cup of tea - but I found it very intense and gripping, and also very emotional. Considering this was a low budget film, I am not surprised it beat Avatar (Very high budget film!) at recent awards Basically, its about a team of American Bomb Disposal chaps in Iraq. The film has a similar feel as 'Black Hawk Down' but has different plot - in fact there is no plot - its more like a 3rd person documentary. It's how I would imagine real life in Iraq - very scary. For a low budget film, the cinematography was superb. There was no really known actors in it - apart from Guy Pearce from Neighbours (many years ago) and he died in the first 10 mins! and Kate from LOST - who we saw at the end for 30 seconds! Tarmac@TarmacSportz Posted February 27, 2010 Share Posted February 27, 2010 I watched on pirate months ago before I knew it was going to be a box office hit, I thought it was great as I love war films, Ross Kemp in Afghanistan etc etc. Not everyones cuppa though and I don't think its a film you would watch over and over.
