Throttle body fixings

thanks ross, saw them, just wondered if they have to be threaded the whole length or not?

 

not dismantled the throttle body yet so a bit unsure

 

 

No mate they are only threaded the last 20mm as per Ross's picture.

 

They should work a treat.

i am, and still waiting, hence why i haven't fitted it yet, as i am going to do the lot in 1 go.

 

hopefully this thursday done, hoping it will be with me at the weekend.

 

without it i can't go to abbey for a remap.

When are you fitting it? I've got one on order from Adam that I am sure comes with bolts, If you can wait a couple of weeks I can tell you the size of them then? or you could drop Adam a pm and ask him the size

 

the ones we carry are 1/2 inch thick

 

I forget the thread pitch of the throttle body - but I'll see if i can find out

IIRC its around 100 inch/lb

think i might need to invest in a torque wrench, or borrow my dads for when i do the plenum
