Darren-B Posted November 3, 2009 Share Posted November 3, 2009 Me, Greekman and my mate Alex in his supercharged mx-5 had a lovelly day out yesterday 2nd Nov at Brands Hatch, whopping some TVRs harrasing a Ferrari 430 scuderia (he was scared of corners) and getting left standing by a GTR. Very nice pics Darren...i ll try and put some up this avo as well. I had a morning tuition from Dixcel....excellent guy helped me so much!!! I could catch up with every one at the shikane (dont rem the name)....and thanks to him i could easily lap around 59secs!!!! Many thanks to Darren and Alex for the help and support as well! Had no issues whatsoever As for the late braking i will let Dixon comment... it was very very helpful having him in the car and he did help me a lot.... DixcelBrake Posted November 3, 2009 Share Posted November 3, 2009 I hve tried to brake late when I drove his but the abs just kicks in when I tried to brake a little bit harder. Didn't need to push it too hard as it was his first visit to brands hatch, Just showed him all the textbook line and braking point for the first lesson so he can have a target to practice in the afternoon session, will go more advance when he get some better tyres next time:) he still braking later than most of the others but with better tyres we can do it alot later;) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
