Dblock Posted October 10, 2009 Share Posted October 10, 2009 I know the engine block table is very very cliche but I really want to do one. The one on ebay is 450pounds so I want to make my own. So I need an engine block get it shot blasted and maybe powder coated. I would also like other things like alloy wheels side tables. I think I will go to college for a short course in welding. Basically I need a project to keep me occupied. So any advice on where to get an engine? Welding advice? eqipment advice? jamesyj Posted October 10, 2009 Share Posted October 10, 2009 I'd love to do the same for the future house. I think I'd scour ebay. The only tricky thing, I'd quite like a 'famous' engine.
