Sarnie Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 I really fancy a Go-Kart meet so I can whoop all you gay Datsun drivers especially Dave in his flower coloured car A few point though: I have no idea when or where we could do it or how much it would cost, I just fancy doing it So ideally someone will come up with a decent karting venue, I'll call them up, get a price, set a date and then you'll all see why I'm the site Stig So who fancies it? MrLizard Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 ace karting off the A5 has a good track, decent karts, good prices, they do a gp format thing which is a little odd but unsure about what else they offer Quote

They split you into two groups and then you do heats against the other groups, about 4 heats, semi's then the final. last time i went we just did a standard race format with two groups of 8, 22 laps at about 27 secs a lap, three sessions for about £40 Quote
MITZ@CougarStore Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Sounds like a good idea, depending on the date I’d be interested… Quote

Sarnie Posted September 29, 2009 Author Posted September 29, 2009 Sounds like a good idea, depending on the date I’d be interested… I was thinking along the lines of a Saturday afternoon towards the end of October..........e.g 24th or 31st.......... Would it be an idea to limit potential venues to indoor tracks so that the weather doesn't ruin it for us?? Quote

Off-peak* £35 per head. So if you get to the final you'll have raced in 8 races, with a cost of £37.50, doesn't seem to bad to me! Quote
MITZ@CougarStore Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Would something like this be suitable, http://www.f1k.co.uk/east-midlands/east ... s-home.asp ... Quote
